Rhinoplasty is the most technically demanding of the aesthetic facial procedures and the one where surgeon selection matters most. Partner surgeons are rhinoplasty specialists — a nose is their whole clinical practice, not one of twelve procedures they offer. Technique choice is driven by anatomy: closed (endonasal) rhinoplasty leaves no external scar and suits tip-only or modest dorsum work; open rhinoplasty via a tiny columellar incision gives the surgeon direct access and is standard for larger reductions, significant tip refinement, and all revision cases. Preservation rhinoplasty — keeping the native dorsum rather than resecting and rebuilding it — has become the preferred approach for straight-nose aesthetics and natural dynamic movement. Septorhinoplasty combines aesthetic reshaping with internal airway correction and is often partially insurable in the UK but completed in a single sitting abroad. Rib or ear cartilage grafting is used in revision cases where septal cartilage is depleted. Milestones: cast off at day 7, 70% of swelling resolved by week 3, tip refinement visible by month 3, final shape at 12 months.
